In the Aktsaal, we explore the practice and meaning of life drawing today. How do we observe and represent bodies? Approaching the model from many different viewpoints we work with a variety of different materials. Drawing from life is about achieving the quirky and individual. It is a study not only of the human form but also of the human condition.

Our research poses the question: is the practice of drawing from life evolving as technology opens up new ways of making and seeing?
